Mistfall loved the feel of the ocean water against her fur. The salty scent that would normally stung other cat's nostrils smelt like Starclan itself to her. She could die happily like this, swimming in the ocean water. Nothing but death could take this away from her and even then she could gaze at the ocean from Starclan.

She felt sorry for the kittypets, loners and other clans who never swam in the ocean. They were missing out.

"Mistfall, can you show me the duck and swipe manouver?" a voice called out.

Mistfall glanced over her shoulder and saw Curlpaw on the sandy beach. The apprentice looked so excited and must have been learning the move with her mentor. Mistfall guessed the apprentice wanted to show her how well she got the move.

"Coming!" Mistfall called out and purred. She loved to see how the apprentices were going. She used her strong legs to kick out and soon her paws hit the sandy shore.

Mistfall blinked happily at Curlpaw, remembering when she was a tiny kit scared and alone. Now she was so much bigger and her blue eyes were as big as the moon.

"Let's go!" Curlpaw said sweetly and Mistfall trotted after her. These were good times.
